More on Rev. Price...

Now I seriously considered driving out to Palos Verdes to check out Reverend Fred K.C. Price’s digs for myself, but thought better of it.  Gas is too high for me to wasting it on someone like that.

And wouldn’t you know, someone saved me the trip anyway.

So over the weekend, I spent some time with my good gay friend who happens to have had the pleasure of visiting Price’s estate on more than one occasion.  For what reason I am not at liberty to say, but it wasn’t any funny business.  While I don’t put anything past Price, my friend isn’t like that.

So here’s the info I got.  Apparently, a mansion and a couple of Bentley’s isn’t the only lavish spending going on at the Price house.  From what I have been told, the Price family never has to leave to get their dos done.  Nope.  While the rest of us are sitting up in the barbershop and beauty salon for hours on end participating in endless gossip and clowning, the Price family has a full service beauty salon and a full service barbershop with multiple chairs right on the premises.  My source tells me that Papa Price brings in the hairdresser for his wife and  daughter so they don’t have to take the time to go out and get their hair done.  Now isn’t that nice.

Now I ask you this again…where in the Bible does it say the pastor should live in a mansion, have multiple Bentley’s, a full service barbershop and beauty salon, and a undisclosed salary?  You find that scripture word for word, and I’ll meet you at the Crenshaw Christian Center (pictured above) for Sunday service myself dressed in my Sunday best.

Oh and I must share the funniest comment I received from a reader who told me that in Atlanta where he’s from they call fellow mega church pastor Bishop Eddie Long’s church Six Flags Over Jesus.

Ha!  Priceless. Lol!

Let's take the focus off the wealth and focus on the Dr's work. As a man of God he is suppose to deliver the message that Jesus Saves all who accept Him as Lord and Saviour and lives by His ways. This includes ALL sinners{which is why God came to earth in human form--to save the sinner). This includes murders, drug addicts, thieves, adulterers, non believers, and yes, even your gay friend because homosexuality is a sin not a disease(read I COR. 6:9-11). Is he doing God's work? Then, God will reward him here on earth as well as in heaven. Dr. Price can not save anyone just like John the Baptist could not save anyone...he can only lead them to the water. If he is not doing so then you have your right to protest. Godspeed sista!!!

Broke folks will always hate on the rich. Go head Dr. Price. I ain't mad at cha! A salon on your property. Now that's doing it first class!!! Much like corporate CEO's, celebrities and the wealth with their personal barbers, tailors and manicurists coming to their homes and offices. Now that's beautiful living. Awwwww.....the good life. OK! Tell me where it is OK and worthwhile for rappers to sing about having promiscuous sex, drugs, smoking weed and murdering, which is harming the black community and making millions doing it. Tell them to give up their fortunes too! You have the very same people struggling to make ends meet, cashing their unemployment check and going to see them in concert.

So, I think you need to get that red or blue dress ready because it is the right of God's children to live in the best of life. Dr. Price deserves to be compensated from the work and life he is living day-to-day helping the body of Christ full-time.
