Uh huh, I said the same thing.

In case you don’t know, Bobby Cutts Jr., 30, of Canton, Ohio,  has been formally charged with the murder of his girlfriend Jessie Davis, 26, who was missing for about a week before her body was found Saturday in a park. Cutts is the father of her 2-year-old son, and Davis' relatives have said he is the father of the baby girl she was due to deliver July 3 and planned to name Chloe.

I was hoping that Cutts was not involved.  Given the fact this his girlfriend is white and he is Black, and being that America is still upset with O.J. for getting off, this was all we needed as Black folks.  Boy, CNN’s Nancy Grace is going to have a field day with this one!

To make it worse, one of Cutts' former high school classmates has been charged as well.  Myisha Ferrell, 29, is accused of lying to investigators about the case. She was ordered held on $500,000 bond.

Oh Cutts’ bond?  $5 million.

About one million of that is for the crime and the other four million is for sleeping with a white woman.

Ohio law allows a murder charge against someone accused of killing a fetus that would be able to live outside the womb.

What happened to innocent until proven guilty? A hundred years ago, Mr. Cutts would have been hanging from a tree by now, even before Ms. Davis was murdered. Hopefully, as a society we have progressed enough for the accused, regardless of race, to receive a fair trial. It's too bad we obviously haven't progressed to a point where race holds no significance in this tragic murder.

People like to pretend there is no racial bias in the justice system anymore. If the man is guilty, then he needs to charged the same as any other man. Subtle bias is still bias. $5 million dollar bail seems just plain excessive. I liked what you said about only $1 million of it being for doing the crime and the rest for being in an interracial relationship.

This story is just what the press wanted, a black man and a white blond woman, all those salacious taboos that they love in this country, disgusting. Its a human life and a innocent child that died, but, yet, as with everything in this country, its race based. Murders to pregnant women by partners are skyrocketing, and, sadly, the only time you hear anything about it is when the victim is a white gal, its as if the black, Asian and Hispanic women don't count.

What is the world coming too when you don't respect the tragic death of a woman and child. Now a little boy will grow up without a mother. He will only have the knowledge of his mother horrible death. He will only know that father killed his mother and sister. Something aren't always black and white somethings are just tragic.
