So, I guess it really is true that churches are struggling to retain membership forcing Pastors to come up with, let’s say, “creative” ways to get people into the House of the Lord.
First-time guests who attend service at Revolution Church in California in the month of April could win a 2005 Scion xB.
Just be 18 years or older to enter the contest show up at the All Church Picnic on Sunday April 29 to win.
What if you’re not 18?
You’re in luck kids. Just drag your parets to church on Easter Sunday, and children in grades one through five who attend a morning service at either Revolution Church location will be entered to win a Ninteno Wii.
I don’t know about you, but it jut doesn’t seem right to show up at church just to enter a contest for a new car or a game system. I thought the whole purpose of church was to worship the Lord and to win salvtion and eternal life, not a new car. Is this going to be the new trend to lure people into the church.
First a new car, perhaps a new home. Maybe they'll start to raffle the collection plate after each service.
Well, um, I think I’ll go to church on Sunday.
Hey, I was planning on going anyway, now I know whch one to attend!
