Rolling Calf II

I hope that the new prime minister will take a definitive stand on the matter of homosexuality in Jamaica. Will the anti-buggery law be repealed or will it continue under the new administration.

While I am on the side of the law as it now stands, I believe that it should be revisited by means of a referendum or Parliament should step in and make a decision on its legality.

Christians do not wish to see any sinner killed or harmed this is why we warn any sinner that God Himself will judge them by his eternal unchanging WORD. Exagerate scorn ridicule the truth but when all are on their knees in judjment God's Word will be the standard. So created on judge yoyr God and defy and mock Him now but you will BOW on that great day...so says the Word of God Bishop Jon King

Deacon Seabert Blacke, Nine Turns, Clarendon

Because of what happened to his brother, Ronald, when they pulled his tone and nearly fly his seed, Bebe should be careful the way he speaks about matters affecting the gay community. He needs to be more understanding. Look at Hamilton, also, the first rear-admiral in the New Testament in Jamaica.

When Duggie, or James Brown, was a Clifton, there was a row and someone pulled Ronald's kakki and nearly fly his seed. He ended up at University Hospital up Papine. I heard that it is so, I cannot confirm. But, I heard that Ronald bawl and nearly kin puppa lick with pain. So, Bebe better be careful how he speaks, because they could pull his tone, too.

These are my former Bishop's views and I wholeheartedly accept them-What I would have hoped however is that he had pointed to more scriptures in the Holy Bible which clearly state how such persons are to be dealt with.

I don't believe however that one should seek to chastise CONSENTING and well-thinking ADULTS who choose to engage in certain behaviours even if it is found to be disgusting/repulsive. Bishop hold your ground-I respect that!

I AM JAMAICAN HOMOSEXUAL AND FROM A BIBLICAL POINT OF VIEW I CANT SAY ITS RIGHT.BUT KILLING SHOULD NOT BE THE SOLUTION.WE ARE ALL SINNERS AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD.KILLING, STEALING,FERNICATION,ENVY AND ALL THE OTHERS ARE SIN JUST AS ME.YOU SO CALL SPIRITUAL LEADERS ARE TO BE BLAIMED FOR CRIMES IN JAMAICA.GOD DID NOT SAY KILL THEM,INSTEAD HE SAID IF ANY ONE AMONG YOU HAVE NO SIN YOU SHOULD CAST THE FIRST STONE.AND NONE OF US ARE CAPABLE OF DOING SO.YOU ARE A SINNER JUST AS I AM.MY CROSS IS HOMOSEXUAL.WHAT IS YOURS???SO HELP US GOD.

The thug-style baggy jeans match well with the jacket, dress shirt and tie. He should have just left his wife beater and doo rag on rather than dressing up for the cameras.

"Man of God" on Sunday's, but hood-rat otherwise? As Dana Carvey's "Church Lady" would say: "Isn't that speeeeeecial?"

Just in case I wasn't very clear . . BOYCOTT

Lucretia

Jasmyne . . can you say boycott . . can you say national campaign . . can you say international campaign . . boycott . .humm that sure sounds like a plan

Jennifer

Damn. I was hoping he was American so I can point and laugh, but he's in Jamaica. Eh, that's okay. He'll be shot and killed by heterosexual muggers.

MonicaR

If Jamaicans won't listen to reason in terms of the fact that it's NOT okay to kill fellow human beings for being GLBT, maybe its time to use economic boycotts to drive home that message.
